The Woodenman Inn is located near the heart of Old Town Lijiang, far away enough (within 5-7 minutes walk to Si Fang Square) that you won't be interrupted by the hustle and noise from the shops and bars located near Si Fang Square yet convenient because vehicles can access our Inn. (Old Town Lijiang prohibits vehicles and even bicycles entering without special permit)

Built in traditional Naxi wooden-style architecture yet providing the modern comforts of home, we strive to provide you with the most enjoyable stay you can have in Old Town Lijiang. We can help you plan for your stay here, organise reliable tour guides or drivers to bring you where ever you want to visit. We have filled the inn with many fun things for you to play when you too tired to go out. Our innkeeper is from Singapore and can converse in english or chinese so we welcome guests from all over the world.

Lijiang and the surrounding areas like Tiger Leaping Gorge, Black Dragon Lake or the nearby provinces like Shangrila and Dali are all blessed beautiful breathtaking natural scenery. Even just sitting around in the inn, soaking in the sun and the excellent air, you won't feel like you are wasting the day. Some of our guests even extend their stay to do just that!
